WarrantyCounselor is a dedicated home warranty comparison platform owned and operated by Screened.com, a consumer research company covering multiple product categories.

We created WarrantyCounselor to give warranty shoppers a focused, independent resource for comparing providers on coverage, cost, and terms. While Screened.com covers a wide range of industries, WarrantyCounselor lets us go deeper on all sorts of warranties, with dedicated research, objective provider reviews, and current pricing data.

Our Mission

Home warranties are hard to compare. Providers rarely publish their prices, the coverage caps that decide what you actually get paid are buried in the contract, and the marketing sounds identical from one company to the next.

We read the contracts, gather the pricing, and put the providers side by side on the things that determine whether a plan is worth having: what it covers, what it costs across a year, what it pays out when something breaks, and how the company handles a claim.
